Presentation of the book Haiku
of Brazir - F. Bombelli

The International Competition for Poetry and Prose Giuseppe Longhi 2011 , organized by the Municipality of Romano di Lombardia, is an occasion where creativity, imagination and passion for literature can express themselves, meet and grow.

The International Poetry Competition, now in its seventh edition in 2010, is enriched this year of important innovations, such as the organic structure of the STUDENTS section and the opening for this category, with productions in prose. Confirmed in verse instead of the dispute as regards the section SENIOR (over 18) and production in DIALECT.

The figure of Giuseppe Longhi, Romanese poetic agon which historically is titled, is a point of continuity with the evolution of the competition, considered the profession of schoolmaster practiced for years before devoting himself fully to politics.
