The motions of the soul - second edition

This' certificate of participation in the competition "The movements of the soul" in which I participated with 3 poems: I write for me, If you want to be my friend and asked questions from the heart.

I was one of the few poets present and I know he 'was read by the actor "If you want to be my friend."
The mechanism of the event provided that each author had to vote for the composition that most 'had hit him.
The authors do not present, however, had 1 vote office. I have received 3 votes.
It's not 'the first competition I attended but it' the first who, in addition to the finalists and reported, enabling them to share and warn everyone else.
I wanted to thank Chao pointed me to the contest and the architect Maria Rosaria Manzini, curator of the exhibition, I have always answered all my doubts and even dispelling, thanking me for my criticism exposed.

44 poets present their "motions of the soul", "picture" of their moods or feelings aroused by events or thoughts.
Someone absent, definitely forced, but the almost tangible presence was made by his words assigned to the reading of a young actor in the company of Murattori.
Souls of all ages: children, adolescents and gentlemen / and elderly and representing a good part of Italy and even some abroad, read with feeling what they put on white sheets.
Two poems read by poets recited by actors and a present for those who could not be there.
From a spectator, some difficulties to follow the sound of all the readings. It would have been nice to have the texts do not lose words in a poem is never useless or superfluous.
Every six poems, a little musical interlude, so it would reflect in the mind and order the hearing.
Long poems and short stories as one of the most diverse topics. It has often been referred to the country, perhaps by those who have departed from it, or her life: the sea, the fishermen, the moon. Many verses dedicated to loved ones, other people who have left their mark in history.
The evening runs quietly, in the atmosphere that only the love of culture and the feeling can be created.
When all the feelings were expressed, while the present is refreshed at a small buffet, poets are occupied by the vote.
Each will have to express three preferences, the present is not graded "office", so as equals.
Even with these poets would have liked not to judge, but ... it was right that was a conversation between lovers.
A Roman professor, before the award ceremony, talks about haiku: compliance, explains them, reads a few. Many in the room already knew them, perhaps only someone knew what this synthetic form of expressional Japanese. Some haiku rewards of school children who have followed his lessons and, in short, learned to compose these little poems.
The poets are careful, it's time to read the chosen ones. Someone with a quiet air was served at the buffet, but many stayed in their seats, apparently including the moment.
Third Place: Clare Baistrocchi, high school in Naples, with a poem inspired by the sea: "I and the sea"
Second place: Vincent Russo, the province of Naples, with a long text in dialect dedicated to Karol Woitila: "A vuluntà 'and God, Karol' na
pen 'to my mana. "
Winner John speaks girl in her early twenties of Positano, with "I ..".
His desire to live intensely, to live well, to be and not to adapt, has gone through the wishes expressed in "I" ...

The evening ends with the audience for the lift home with some nice emotion in more than talk.
For poets and organizers, a dinner together, people who did not know in most cases, but that will surely know what to talk and be heard along well together and to share their common passion.
For an appointment in a few months, in a late summer evening, to take in hand the tangible result of this experience: the book that will collect all the poems submitted, and some brief notes on the authors.
It will be another special moment of attention to the spirit.
The poets who could not read their own works in April, and may do so at that time "motions of the soul, the" picture of thoughts ", will once again protagonists.
